National Founding Consultation · 2026

A political home for South Africa's working taxpayers.

You work. You contribute. You support a family. Yet university fees, a bond, medical costs and debt can leave you struggling—while policy still calls you “well off”.

Public submissions: 1 September–30 November 2026Three months only · Respond before the consultation closes.

Important: Taxpayers' Voice South Africa is provisional and is not a registered political party. This public founding process has no individual owner. The interim secretariat acts only as accountable custodian until a democratic founding convention.

01 / THE CASE

A salary does not automatically mean security.

Gross income hides the reality of PAYE, pension deductions, medical aid, school and university costs, transport, municipal charges, insurance and support for relatives.

PUBLIC CUSTODIANSHIP

No founder owns this consultation.

The process, proposals and aggregated findings are held in trust for participating members of the public. No administrator, individual, company or provincial group acquires permanent control or leadership entitlement.

02 / THE PRIORITIES

A fair deal for those who keep the country moving.

Preliminary policy areas for public debate—not final promises.

01

Fair taxation

Tax brackets, rebates and support thresholds that recognise inflation, dependants and the real cost of working.

02

Education access

A sliding scale of bursaries and affordable loans for families caught above the NSFAS threshold.

03 / OUR COMMITMENT

Firm on accountability.
Fair to every South African.

01

We will not be anti-poor.

Unemployment is often involuntary. The movement must defend dignity and a responsible social safety net.

02

We will not make empty promises.

Every major proposal should be independently costed, funded and measured against published outcomes.

03

We will not protect privilege.

Tax evasion, tender manipulation, corruption and failed service delivery harm honest citizens at every income level.

04 / PROVINCIAL COORDINATION

Nine provinces.
One founding mandate.

Every response is assigned to a provincial founding consultation so local priorities, proposed coordinators and founding support can be carried into the national convention.
